Mark - Elementary School teacher, Rock School guitar teacher, husband, father and rocker in his band "Guys in Thin Ties".
On Tuesday I had the pleasure of planting my bum on The Green Couch Project to be interviewed about my work, business and inspiration. It was an amazing experience, thoughts and plans that had only ever been shared with Bobbi being shared, becoming very real.
When I left, a parting gift was a small notebook with a message written in it,
"Today, you sat on the couch. You spilled your gutsy. And you just butt dialled the world. But that's OK. Actually, it's good. Because you make a difference, people will listen to your message, and they will be inspired. Whatever you are doing ? Keep doing it. You're doing it right. Now go, and write what you are doing. There's so much more that people need to hear".
There is much to write, but that simple message left me inspired, wanting to go and exercise my medium of images rather than words, so I contacted Mark on my way home and had him meet me at the studio. To work right away toward creating images that equal those that inspire me, it will be a long road, but faith is taking the first step when you cannot see the rest of the staircase.
