This is Red (aka Tom), homeless once again with the familiar refrain "My woman asked me to leave".

Though he has lived in Frederick 34 years, about half of them homeless he grew up around Alexandria, Virginia back when it was far more country. I asked him about Roy Buchanan and Danny Gatton, two complete monsters of guitar.."Oh man, I used to see them all the time, I can't believe you have heard of them", I point over my shoulder at my Danny Gatton Telecaster guitar. He then reminisced about the times he spent in hole in the wall bars round the area seeing bands they were in, never realizing until later just how good they were.

A simple reminder that no matter how different we think we are, we have more in common with everyone than differences, if we seek to find our commonalities we build connection with another human being.

He takes his coffee with just a little bit of cream if you see him on Market.
